Our reformer pilates classes

Reformer Pilates Class

Reformer Pilates is an advanced version of the mat Pilates method created by Joseph Pilates, performed on a sliding bed with spring resistance. This equipment facilitates modifying the exercises to make them easier or harder, adding excitement and enhancing the effectiveness of the workout. In the 50-minute class, we engage all muscle groups, with special attention to core strength development and improving posture. We offer various class types for all ages; reformer Pilates can be started at any fitness level.

At Coccinelle Pilates Studio, you’ll find classes like Classic Reformer Pilates, Hard Core, HIIT Fusion, Body Control, Feel Good, and Beginner Reformer Pilates. No prior experience is required, as our instructors provide full guidance. We structure our classes to provide a comprehensive workout and mental relaxation for all skill levels.

Beginner Reformer Pilates Class

Our beginner reformer Pilates classes are recommended for those who are new to the Pilates method or unfamiliar with the reformer machine. We teach you the foundational exercises and techniques, focusing on correct posture and breathing. The class has a slower pace, allowing each participant to build strength, flexibility, and coordination. During the session, you’ll get to know the Pilates machine, with springs of varying resistance, enabling us to adapt each exercise to suit your fitness level so that you can enjoy your very first reformer Pilates experience.

Hard core by Katica

Hard Core reformer Pilates is a more intense Pilates class that focuses on the core muscles of the body.

As the name suggests, it involves tougher, more challenging exercises than usual.

Here, “hard core” not only refers to the emphasis on the core muscles, but also to the fact that the class is physically more demanding, requiring greater strength and endurance.

Feel Good Pilates by Tété

The “Feel Good” Pilates class is a full-body workout, consisting of flowing exercises designed to help you find both physical and mental balance.

Throughout the session, special emphasis is placed on improving stability and activating the deep muscles of the body. The exercises are guided by mindful breathing, which encourages inner focus and the creation of inner harmony.

The class concludes with an extended cool-down stretch, which helps release tension and promotes complete relaxation.

This class is the perfect choice if you’re looking to feel good in your body.

HIIT Fusion by Tété

“HIIT Fusion” is a dynamic Pilates class that combines elements of fitness, yoga, and Pilates.

The high-intensity intervals (HIIT) raise your heart rate and boost metabolism, while the Pilates and yoga exercises build strength, balance, and flexibility.

It’s the perfect choice if you’re looking for a full-body workout that energizes and challenges you.

Prenatal Pilates class

At Coccinelle Pilates Studio we offer a special “Prenatal Pilates” class tailored to the needs of our expectant clients.
According to the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, regular exercise during pregnancy can reduce back pain, help maintain healthy weight gain and lower the risk of gestational diabetes or preeclampsia.

This pregnancy workout is an intelligent, whole‑body exercise that strengthens, stretches and teaches conscious breathing, giving you confidence in your movement and stability in everyday life.

In the first trimester, the kismama workout uses gentle exercises, proper breathing and core activation to lay the foundation of stability while avoiding overexertion. In the second trimester, as your center of gravity shifts, we modify the exercises: we limit time spent lying on your back, avoid prone positions, and use side‑lying, seated or standing exercises and props to support proper posture. During the third trimester, when you may feel more tired, the class focuses on relaxing breathwork, chest‑ and back‑opening exercises and wider stances so that you can move comfortably and prepare for birth.

Throughout prenatal Pilates our instructors encourage you to listen to your body: if lying on your back makes you nauseous or you feel fatigued, we modify or skip the exercise. Regular prenatal Pilates practice can ease pregnancy‑related aches, improve posture and body awareness, and support mental well‑being.

Coccinelle’s Prenatal Pilates classes create a safe, supportive environment for expecting women in Budapest at any trimester, helping them stay active, strong and balanced throughout pregnancy.
